Event Support Internship - Learn the Ins and Outs of Event Production!

 

Do you have a passion for events and a desire to learn the industry from the ground up?

CNTR/CTY, a Sammis|Ochoa company, is seeking a dedicated college-level intern to join our team as an Event Support Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and execution while working alongside seasoned event professionals.

In this role, you will:

1. Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including seating, audio/visual systems, and décor.

2. Gain valuable experience in guest management and ensure a seamless experience for attendees.

3. Learn the ropes of public relations and marketing strategies used to promote events.

4. Receive mentorship and guidance from one of the company's co-owners.

Qualifications:

1. Enrolled in a local San Antonio college or university and receiving credit for the internship.

2. Available to work 1-2 weeknights per month for event setup/breakdown. (5 hours per event)

3. Available to work in-office for 8 hours per week. 

4. Strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly, and a positive attitude.

5. Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
